    Looks like they're STILL calling this BS a success. No one was shot in that particular neighborhood where they had the checkpoints setup...only 8 people in other areas

    ...yesterday suspended the checkpoint program that screened people driving into the troubled Trinidad neighborhood, acting after a night that left eight people shot at six locations elsewhere in the city.
    So let me get this straight, some people get shot at locations A, B, C, D, E, and F, so they were going to section off location "W".

    Actually, JD, I think it was - They sectioned off location "W", so people were shot at locations A, B, C, D, E, and F.

    Some criminals ARE smart (OK, smart enough). "Hey, all the cops are at location "W", let's not go there." Duh!

    yep seems like only way this will work is to section off entire city ,impose marshall law,will need a permission slip to go to walmart,work,etc.
