The suspect didn't appear to be armed? That officer may get in a little trouble for running him over, but he proboly deserved it anyways, he's just lucky the cop didn't throw it into reverse.

I think the story on that was that the wet and slippy terrain made the driver screw up somewhat.

Looked like a busted leg would have been getting off lightly but actually it appeared he was not too mangled.

Hey, as I have previously said...I have used "dip spit" to take care of an aggressive drunk. I am all for using the weapon "at hand" (or in my case in the mouth).

The lawyers are already sending the perp their buisness cards at the jail hospital. Depending what the "suspected"perp is "suspected" of doing,and what was the "suspected"weapon he had in his "suspected" posession will make or break the LEO's "suspected" career. The ground was wet. The grass was wet. The field was muddy. OK---BUT---------You can just imagine what will be said in the courtroom. Personally,I believe that if you run from a LEO after the command to stop has been given,you should be shot between the shoulder blades. Why do ALL the perps run? Cuz they ALL know that they will not be shot.----------
