    If those stats are true, I fail to see how that could be used as anti-gun. If someone has that strong of a desire to kill themself, regardless of access to a firearm/other deadly weapons, they will kill themselves in a different manner.

    (Just as much so, if someone who cannot legally purchase a firearm wants one,and seeks one, they WILL be able to purchase one illegally somewhere, just a matter of time in tracking it down.)
