I'm very thankful this child was not more seriously injured. The word on this type of stupidity (shooting firearms into the air in "celebration") needs to be broadcast every year (for the new nitwits who "age up").

The one person who did this engaged in a criminally irresponsible act that caused harm to another. That person is liable.

It's hardly indicative of all people who own guns, no matter how shrill the cries from the anti-gun folks.

While it is understood by us that this is not an example of responsible gun ownership and use, there are many who would use this against us. The main point here should be educating people against the indiscriminate use of firearms, such as firing them in the air.
