Talking Baby Lump Gender Poll: We Have a Verdict & Pics: See Posts 94 & 104

In one week from today, at 0930 (that's 9:30 in the morning for those who are curious) on the 15th of July, JD and I will finally find out whether our little wiggle worm is a boy or a girl.

As the day approachs we are not-so-patiently waiting and passing the time has become maddening.

So, to humor ourselves I want to see if the power of perception runs well through this forum and see what you fine folks think we're hatching.

What do you know it is?

What I mean is deep down inside, you have this gut feeling that it is a boy/girl. Not what you want, but your deep down gut feeling. Woman will say for example, I really want a boy but I just feel it is a girl. Then they find out it is a girl. That is like 100% accurate.

I THINK it's a boy. Every time I try to pick out girl names or look at girl clothes or even think about it as a girl or refer to the baby as a "she" it just feels wrong.

Something deep down says boy, but I've been wrong before..lol

Not about the gender of my children as this is our first, but other "deep down" feelings..lol

I voted for Girl because every girl in our family has been hyperactive in the womb, and you mentioned that "lump" is active. Whichever sex your baby is, it won't matter. Congrats again.

My manger at work said I'm either having a boy or a red-headed girl. That's his only explanation for the INSANELY active child I'm carrying.

I haven't really had any cravings other than fruit. I eat fruit all day, every day. It's like water to me.

Other than that I have no wife's tales to report (to my knowledge). I have no idea if I'm carrying high or low or any of that. I don't know what to expect, I've never done this before..lol

As long as the baby is whole and healthy very little else matters. Congratulations on what ever sex it turns out to be.

    True, true.

In the end it only matters if our little one is healthy, but it's fun to speculate.

We have been waiting for this day as we have done absolutely ZERO shopping or even registering because we wanted to know the sex first.

We have a couple teddy-bears, some white onesies and two non-gender specific outfits that we got from my mother-in-law. Other than that our home is bare of child-related items.

Knowing us, though, we'll still probably procrastinate and be jamming for baby gear at about 8 months...lol

Sorry, but I'm still calling 'boy'.
We all have to stick together.

Hey...on a related note...Anyone know who is the youngest DC member? Could Lump be the first?

We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

It's a girl...sorry J.D., but you're going to have to learn that women need more(a lot more) space in the bathroom(and closets) than you do.
