Just like liberals who become conservatives after being mugged, most of these college students will wise up and not trust Big Government in any form after they start to draw a real paycheck and have to pay real taxes to support the "Utopia" that they formerly wished upon everyone

It's the same story as guns:

Guns=Power. No Guns = Control (of the people)

Internet=Power. Censor of= Control (of the people)

The UN is pure bureaucracy. The more “pies” that they have their fingers in the more legitimacy they are given. The more legitimacy the less likely the UN will ever go away.
Many people are gaining power and influence through the United Nations. The UN hopes one day to be THE government for the planet. That is a lot of power to place on one body of people. It takes a rare individual to give up power and wealth willingly.
