<----My LT was unhappy that I did not have my PASS-Tag at that fire. But I found the body so he said he would overlook it. :)
Those Belgians really know beer!
slowly they are chipping away at our sovereignty! Not good for many reasons either.

Wow this stinks. Another huge American company gone to them pesky Europeans.
A 9mm might expand but a .45 will never shrink enough to fit 17 in the magazine.
That and Budweizer is the largest political contributer of any corparation.
This will be interesting.
Either way, I will stick to my micro-brews.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.
I have heard that Bud light is the most drank beer in the world, and bud "diesel" is also top 5, you would think if you sold the most drank beer in the world, you wouldn't have to sell out to Europeans.
Time to find a new brew I guess.
EDIT: The same company that bought them makes Stella Artois I already don't drink that one since I can't say the name. Apparently it has to be approved by stockholders, if only the had some guts and pride in their country and didn't just see $$.

Well first ya'll better check to see who owns your alleged "micro" brewery as many have been snapped up over the years by big breweries. Also check the ownership of those big breweries and you may be surprised. The article I read says that In-Bev owns most of the majors already.
With the dollar being so strong against foreign currency right now, NOT, the entire country is for sale. In my area there is big foreign money coming in and buying real estate at low prices and with the exchange rate, even cheaper. It is a good investment for them. Same thing with our companies. It isn't going to change anytime soon.

I agree with Ram Rod that the Belgians know beer, but on the other hand, we lost another American icon to an oversea company. Sad day

I wonder if this will effect my 'beer by the barrel' price?![]()

Darn that pesky free market, anyway . . .
Now here's one segment of the economy where you really can do something. Namely, brew your own! It's even legal.
Of course, as mentioned, you can easily check to see who really owns your favorite brew.
And as an alternative, just search for "American Craft Beers". You'll find such names as Samuel Adams, Sierra Nevada, Stone, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Bar Harbor, Rio Blanco, and many more.
And remember:
