    Cool

My speedo only goes to 120. Been there many times. Out here in Missouri the wind is a lot higher than I'm used to in VA. So around that speed the bike gets to feeling like it's trying to float.

I can't have a sport bike, because I know I would have to do something like that. More than once. Probably would eventually end badly. As Dirty Harry said in Magnum Force, "A man's got to know his minitations."

I think that speedo is in KM/H. I ride a sportbike and the sense of speed I get from that vid is not as I get off mine.
Not to say that it isn't fast and you won't scrape a bunch of skin off your hide when you fall.

ArmyCop - being an AVI file you may not have the required codec - might be latest DivX needed (?v5.2). Do a Google on codecs - one or two very good sites out there where you can get most needed ones - in fact tho I have no link to hand, I found a ''package'' file a ways back with a whole bunch of codecs.

Some folks find VLC Media Player will play most files, and I personally use Media Player Classic - which I find way better for me than current Media Player 10.

The vid - yeah, has to be kph speedo - that was fast but not remarkable. I have a clip somewhere of a guy doing some way faster (?suicidal?) speeds - and another where rider is clocking 160mph and gets passed by another bike as if standing still! I'll post any I find, if I find 'em.

I agree with the KM/H if that were mph there is no way he would be taking those corners (80 mph) with such little lean. I used to have a GSX/R 1100 and decided to sell it after I got "too comfortable" with it's performance. It was entirely too easy to attempt new land speed records on the interstate.

The vid you're talking about is an R1 being passed by a Hayabusa. Pretty amazing. Will look too.

I found one Steve - this is genuine 220mph - the inner ring on the speedo on this is the kph. All straight line but - it's fast!! Hope I can upload as attachment.

Darn it - it's just over a 2Mb limit - have to see if I can prune it.

Yeah - the ''Busa" is the other, correct - and just found it so should be able to bring that up.

Edit addition - Have trimmed bit off the 220mph one to get under 2Mb - but shows most!!

has to be KM/h I ride a 03 CBR 954RR and have been in the 160's (Mph)before and that was not 160 Mph---- I wrote that and then did a little bit of checking and watched the vid again and I think it could be Mph because 160 KM/h = 99.4 Mph and he was going faster than that and also with the RPMs running at redline like that he would have to be in second or at most third gear and he did not have the throttle response at the lower speeds he should have had in those gears plus he up shifted at least once in the vid.
