Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

I have, against all odds, begun to open carry in town. Hasn't been frequently, and it has so far been to a few of the more lightly-traveled spots. But, the couple of times I have had comments have turned out positively.

After I was done explaining it to him he said this: "America is truly the greatest country in the world if anyone can have a gun to protect their life from the criminals! I love America!"
    +1 To the young man.

Buddy, that made me proud as I could be to be an American.
    +1 To you Mike!
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

Grady... I don't know how long you've lived in Missouri, but Missouri has always been an open carry state.

Now with that said... how many people outside of LEO's have you ever seen open carry?

In 47 years I have maybe seen two or three... and that has always been hunters during hunting season out in the field.

Most towns and cities will have a local ordinance against it. They call it disturbing the peace or other similar wording.

Look for LEO's to hassle you and tell you that since you have a ccw permit to keep it covered.

You might ask around at Missouri Carry forum and get some of their input before you start open carrying in your area.

I am a firm believer in concealed carry for a number of reasons and don't intend to become any "test case" or push the envelop.

Good Luck and please send me a PM if you get any positive feedback. I am interested in how it goes.
