Death Sentance for an Army Private...

I just read this and didn't think much of it, he was found guilty of multiple murders and rapes, until I read when the last one happened.

FOXNews.com - Bush OKs Execution for Army Private on Death Row - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

I just assumed that this happened almost as frequently as other death sentences, taking in to account the percentages of Military Vs. civilians of course the number would be smaller (I would hope), but I would think it still would be happening.

I agree. I was doing the math (scary in and of itself) and this guy was convicted the year I started High School. That means he has been mooching off of us for 20 years!

I understand due process and making sure you have appeals to ensure the trial was handled correctly and I agree we need those things, but come on it shouldn't take 20 years for that to happen, military or civilian courts.

I guess it re-enforces the military motto "Hurry up and wait!"

During his term as Governor, George W. put over 250 convicted murderers to sleep for good...

One good reason why I voted for him.

Lord, Grant me a good sword and no need to use it.

Yes, I am inclined to believe this, especially with the dismissal of charges against Joe Horn..............

Good, I hate when a scumbag gives the military a bad name. I hope the public will see that we don't take kindly to human waste in our ranks.

I guess it would be too much to ask that he die the same way his victims did?

Do you suppose with that line of thinking my application to become the UN Secretary-General will be denied?
