That says shoot me in the head please... I really think they should have come up with a little better way to protect these people. At least the guy on the right tried to cover his up...

The head of a target that is moving is very hard to hit. The head is usually constantly moving while walking.....So unless the target is standing behind a podium making a speech & only the head is visible. Anybody shooting from a distance is going to be going for COM.....A head shot is more for the movies than the real world.......In the picture, the most likely target will be the guy in the suit, he stands out more just from his clothing color.
Trying for the 'grapefruit shot' can be done, but it isn't the norm...it's the exception.
(One of my movie pet peeves is that the 'sniper's image' thru his rifle scope is rarely accurate. They show this really clear, steady & HIGHLY magnified images. In the real world, the image thru a scope is a lot smaller than portrayed in Hollywierd....)

That's what I like about the forum... the voice of experience!
I never realized those points. Good eye!

Something else about the movies...
They never show the scope jumping around from the hearbeat in your armpit or your vision getting fuzzy from not taking in a breath ethier. You see no mirage on a warm day, or the subtle hints of windage taken from surrounding foliage or flags. They almost never show the recoil from the shot and the completely losing the image in the scope.
