    My vacation pics

So I took a week off , rounded up the camping gear, kids and a old friend and his family and traveled to MI's Upper Peninsula. Munising area to be exact. Along with several spectacular waterfalls , geocaching and paddling we got to see the Pictured Rocks National Park.
The weather was great and 80 degrees was the norm.

Looks like an amazing vacation. The canoe by the cliff/waterfall is especially amazing.

    Thanks for sharing!

Kayaks actually. We paddled for about 4-6 miles of cliff face. Better view than from the tour boats.

FUN FUN. Looks like good fun had by all. I want to do a little 3-4 day vacation maybe towards mid-late september, but that hinges on whether or not I end up in AK for two months.

Way cool... Been about 5 years since I was in the UP. Crossing Mackinac Bridge is always fun.

I like the Soo area. Next trip up that way I'm heading to Whitefish Point. Didn't have time to visit the shipwreck museum last time I was up there. I did get to see two lifeboats of the Edmund Fitzgerald and good display history of the wreck in Soo. Valley Camp ore freighter museum is a great self paced tour.

Looks like you had a Great Trip! Pics were cool! Thanks for posting!

Great pics...looks like you really enjoyed yourseves.
Makes me miss our (family) time in the Soo.
Plenty of great camping places in the U.P. where you can be relatively private.

    Were you armed while kayaking?

    Stay armed...especially camping...stay safe!
