What was the first post here at DC (combatcarry.com before). I can imagine there was one stating "open for business" but I am talking about after that one, the actual first post.

That would have been right around 17 June 2004.

According to some black magic forum wizardry, this is the oldest thread:

I guess I am still learning the search, I was unable to find anything that old. Not to mention I was searching while doing a lot of Alt+Tab while working and on a conference call (I promise I was paying attention).

A normal search won't go back that far, we're limited to 200 results IIRC and that will only bring 200 results back from a year ago and older, 200 threads and/or posts aren't that many in a forum this size or larger.

I just know where to look.

Really?? I wasn't around but I would have guessed the first post was ol' Six' preaching about the virtues of the 870P or the glock. Just a guess though.
