    Heading to New Yawk....oy!

My grandmothers health is ailing so i am heading out to the Peoples Republik of New York to visit with her for a few days. Needless to say, i will be going w/o my wife or my little friend.

It's odd enough being unarmed for 8 hours a day at work, but it will be another to be unarmed for 5 days. I know the reason why i need to go, but it's going to be the weirdest thing. I had to head back to New Yawk for my other grandmothers funeral right after Christmas in 2007. Did the funeral deal and could not wait to get back home...and i wasn't even a gun owner yet....go figure.

I'm in NYC very often. It's not that bad, except for the stupid laws. Stay safe, be aware. Oy vey!

JFK wasnt so bad landing into..taking off I had 15 planes in front of me...talk about sucking big time. Mostly about NYC I felt naked as I couldnt carry my piece concealed on me. I thought about my piece the majority of the time i was on vaca...city has definately cleaned up however.

i remember NYC pre-guilianni... it was a dump....night and day. Compared to McCarren, JFK is a model of inefficiency. i used to fly out of Laguardia alot, but only JFK does service to vegas.

Jet blue best way to travel. I have taken the 7.00 pm or the 7.00 am out of JFK to Vegas many times. (To many to admit to) After being awake for 42 hours I do get a little cranky.
