Teen gets $265,000 bond after two-hour foot chase :: WRAL.com

Garner, N.C. — Authorities set bond at $265,000 for a teen who led them on a foot chase through a southern Wake County subdivision for nearly two hours Wednesday.

Michael Raymond Schumpelt, 16, was expected to appear in court at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies charged him with assault with a deadly weapon on a government officer, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and two counts of felonious possession of stolen property.

He was also facing a breaking-and-entering charge that happened two weeks ago, authorities said.

(More to the article but this sums it up)
"If you can't place your shots on a non-moving piece of paper, how much more difficult will it be when that piece of paper becomes a 3-time felon whose sole purpose is to avoid going back to prison no matter what happens and no matter who gets in the way?"

16 and already a convicted felon...his parents need some serious help.

16 and already a felon? Um, yeah I'm thinking he has already chosen his career path.

He needs to come out of the gene pool.

Becoming.. I think he's already there... and it may end soon, if tried as an adult. Here... 2 felony's of that type, and he can be tried as an adult if they are 16 or older. Can be tried as an adult for murder, if 14 or older.

Too bad he didn't try to hide in a trash compactor.
