Contract killer emails my mother in law??

This email was sent to my mother in law at her work place. She notified the police and they responded but we are pretty sure it is fake/spam.

It's a scam. Here is a link to the FBI website talking about it.

It is fake. They do get a lot of people to bite though. The local police won't be able to do anything because this came from another country. They have all kinds of scams like this. Do like I do and just click delete. I don't even open them.

Fake for sure. Guy can't even spell. I also seriously doubt that a real pro is going to e-mail his intended victim in an attempt to extort money from him, especially when he's already been paid for a contract. Killers who try this sort of nonsense don't live very long. Jerry Snoop? How about Jerry's a noob?

Fake. I got the same thing in my mailbox. Click delete, then forget about it.

Do you really think an honest to goodness hit man, actually hired to do a job, would jeopardize his chances for earning his fee by announcing himself?

Doesn't even look vaguely authentic. Reading it, the text just screams "I'm 11 years old and watch too many movies".

Send a return email with a picture of a Glock as an attachment.

And it will work since the email seems to be generated in France. I would not be surprised if the sender will pay you money after receiving the Glock pic.
