Since Obama does have a "chance" to get elected.... and his attitude about guns, gun control, judges , etc..... it has prompted me to buy 2 of the guns I've been wanting for awhile, but held off on. No longer. I bought the Taurus 617 & Springfield EMP. I'm also looking hard for the 3rd, and considering getting the AR-15 that I've been wanting for the last 4 yrs.

So, I guess I have to thank Obama, he motivated me to buy them while I can be sure that I can. Stocking up on some ammo is a good idea too, so I've been getting a box here, there, etc. too.

Hummmm.... wonder if that is why the backlog at Bushmaster and Rock River has become larger over the summer and the waiting period is much longer now to get one.

I bought my p229, a dan wesson 745, a smith & wesson model 27-5, a 1934 Walther PPK, a bunch of ammo for all except the ppk (it a collector's item, don't want to shoot it!), going to buy my wife a p229 two-tone; and my wife, father and I are taking a ccw class sept. 13th! It was all in the works, but had a nice push back when it was either hitlery or obama, hoping we'll grandfather-in if any laws become made that make it more difficult or illegal to get ccw licenses or purchase guns. And not as though I'm crazy for McCain, but if he is elected, we'll get to keep them!
