Folks like that are missing a bunch of marbles. That's not an excuse, but it is the only possible explanation.
Good chance she is schizophrenic and had no idea what she was doing--- very sad, but that is the toll that untreated mental illness brings us.
And then again, she could just be a vile poor excuse of a human being.
