    National Anthem

A beautiful rendition done by the Cactus Cuties.

Many people have sung the national anthem at sporting events. Often, they put a personal twist on it. The Cactus Cuties inject the anthem with beautiful harmonies. What’s so special about that?

Well, the Cactus Cuties is a group of singers from Lubbock, TX. Its members aren’t professional singers. They’re girls, 13 or younger. These girls have been gifted with wonderful voices. In this video, you’ll hear them sing before 11,000 people.

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Yes, very well done, but it's been on the forum for many months. Did enjoy seeing it again though.

It's our National Anthem, why do people constantly think they should be able to rearrange it? What next..... Redesign the flag, just because you think it's prettier?

    MSG/RET,
Thanks for sharing this. All renditions of the National Anthem are beautiful. It is especially moving when the youth stands tall and sing in honor of what a great nation we have, and recognize the blood it takes to keep the peace and freedom so many take for granted. Thanks, my brother.

Don't care how many times it's posted. I can't listen to it without getting choked up.

Was even hard to maintain discipline if it was sung when at attention in the Corps. As a matter of fact, it was in the Corps when I first started getting choked up over that song.
