    Talking It's Hard To Believe

    Hard to believe that the EMPTY cardboard Galil Rifle Box on Ebay now has a High Bid of $66.00 (That Would Be Sixty Six) as in (66 American Dollars) for an Empty Galil Rifle Box. The box is in fairly poor condition. And....the auction is not over yet.

    QK - if a roll of toilet paper had Colt printed on each sheet - it'd make a fortune

    Maybe if I sell a gun I should sell it ''sans box'' and sell that separately!

    I'm not absolutely sure, you'd have to buy one to figure out. This may be the way some bypass eBay's anti-gun laws. <p>It's kind of like selling an envelope (legal to sell on ebay) and the lucky winner gets free knicks tickets (not legal to sell on ebay) <p>Then again, I guess I could sell my empty gun boxes and become a rich man.

    Nope...It's The Actual Value Of The Box

    The Galil box...add $10.00 for Shipping the empty box too!

    My Galil was an early one & it came N.I.B. from Magnum Research & Damn if I didn't toss my cardboard box away.
    I had moved it twice & then just chucked it.



    I've seen empty Colt boxes going for upwards of $25.00 on Ebay.

    So if you had a Galil you where trying to sell that was in good shape, would it be worth more than $76 more if you could say "in original box"?

    I bet so ... I bet it would sell for at least $100 more than it would otherwise.
