Yummee!
Last several days been tumbling brass - long overdue. This is main lot tho still have more 38's on the go - and a load of .454's to go thru as well as other 44's just discovered. Quite a lot (undertstatement!) of already clean stuff set aside too - so - heck have I got some loading to do!!
Bottom left (sort of!) - 45acp - approx 2,000+ by weight. Bottom right - approx 300 .44mag. Then top left (ignore the few .223's at top) - 9mm's - approx 5,000 - tho whether I shall use them is another matter entirely! Finally, sorta top right - mostly 38's with some .357's mixed in - approx 1,000.
Winter has a long ways to go yet - so, need now to cast some bullets.

Shotgun hulls - sheesh, tell me about it!
Until recently I had a huge box under one of my work tables and got tired of all the space it was taking. Haven't loaded shotshells for ages so - threw the whole darned lot (many 100's) up on a sorta mezanine deal, out the way. Plus too, bags of wads - so much bulk. Got enough consumables to load 2,000++ - but get so little time for shotgunning these days.

If your gonna start casting bullets to fill that brass up...
I hope that you have some 4 and 6 cavity molds...otherwise it'll take you years....

HG - 38's not a prob - 6 cavity for those, plus i have been buying some bulk bullets too - PPC uses up a lotta ammo!
In fact 230 LRN's for .45acp may well be cheats too - I have a 2 cav' Lyman for those and can churn em out pretty fast but - chances are I'll cheat a bit and get some bulk Rainiers or similar.
Main casting in truth is for more ''selective'' stuff - 44 mags - love the Lyman 421 which is a Keith 250 grain SWC - great bullet. Then I plan also to cast some 300 gas checks for 44 - and some 330 gas checks for .454. Also soon some .458's for 45-70.
I may yet find a 6 cavity for 45 acp 230's - we''ll see. i just put on some good music and settle to it - not bad really tho lubrisizing after is a bugger !
