    COD4: who plays?

I worked hard around the house early in the summer and earned a little "me time" after work (my wife & I are not blessed with children).

The honey do list is building back up, gulp!

With hunting season and fall soon to arrive, habits will soon change.

I play a lot of COD4 as I watch TV and post on boards (I die a lot and I play boards where auto-spawn is off).

Anyone else like / play COD4 (Call of Duty 4)?

I used to play that game competitively. Then my teams started dissolving and I got two jobs. Gaming came to a bare minimum.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

I do not play it on line but, I do play it a good bit. My favorite mission is "Charlie Don't Surf" because you wind up in a large gun battle in a large news room in a TV station. I work in a TV station and it is rather nice to be able to blast some of the very equipment I work on every day in the game!

I love that game. I understand the COD 5 will once again be set in WWII but in the Pacific? I can't wait.

You should try it online. This is the first game I ever played online, other than Command & Conquer on the PC, but once I started, I got addicted.

Yeah, decent game. Killed a lot of hours playing it. Good for mindless fun sometimes. I prefer the Ghost Recon (sometimes R6:Vegas) for those types of games, though. A little more thought and proper tactics go a longer way.

I've been playing FPS PC games for about 12 years. The COD games are always a blast. Some of the best single player storylines in any game period.

However, I don't really play COD4 any longer. I do play Rainbow Six Vegas2, and I'm still stuck in the past playing Quake 3 on occasion.
