    9.11

On this 9.11, as I sit watching the news telling me that the masses are now more relaxed about another attack, I'm wondering: "Have they forgotten?" I, personally, carry more, watch more carefully, and trust less. Please tell me that I'm not alone.

    Your not alone in that.

You are not alone, you are a member of a small but ever growing groups of like minded (self reliant minded) people who will keep a vigilant eye on themselves and theirs to keep it from happening again.

If you look at Google's website logo, they usually commemorate every kind of thing that comes along. What do you see there today?

That would be a big NADA! But keep in mind they are based in the People's Republic of California, not that big of a surprise to me.

I live in MD where i am surounded by military bases and political targets. yet people still seem to forget, or atleast forget the significance if not the act.

Heck I worked a few miles from the Baltimore world trade center, at the time we thought the hits were going to keep coming. yet so quickly people forgot, it was only 6 months i think before people started complaning and lost site of the target.

You are not alone. In fact the very reason you ask the question you did proves you are not alone.

There are thousands if not millions of Americans who are working their butts off to allow the rest of us to forget and go on with our privilaged lives. The lemmings have forgotten, thanks to the patriots.

This is the main reason I joined the army. I'm in Iraq for the second time and still very happy with the decision I made.
