Ike damage in West Tennessee!
Seems I can't move far enough away from the Gulf Coast to dodge damage from these darn hurricanes! We move here to Shelby County from Mobile Alabama to get away from that stupid things and what happens? I get up this morning to find my property damages by the passing of Ike last night!
A board was blown down off my fence in the backyard! It cost me 4 wood screws to put it back and repair all the damage!
Lol! Just had to throw that out there guys. I can't tell you how sweet it has been to live up here this year and see the coverage of the hurricanes and not have to worry about them. My wife and I are happy. The kids love the area and the schools they go to. We are really, really starting to realize that we made the right decision when we decided to move after Katrina.
Life is good.

Here in Gainesville the 'Canes' seem to blow all around us, but we're just fine here...still have the warm weather...the 'Canes' miss us, and NO SNOW!
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.

We actually had hurricane force winds...in Ohio!

We had strong winds and a lot of rain here. I've lived in upper northwest Arkansas for about 23 years now. Seems like we used to just get the rains associated with the gulf hurricane systems, but seldom heard of those strong systems staying together as long as they seem to nowadays. Maybe the present day jet stream is stronger now too? I'll leave the scientific explanations to the specialists, but I do know that things are changing dramatically and I don't think we are following a 'historical' or some so-called repeat weather pattern. On the other hand, it could just be a stern little message from God for us all to make an effort to straighten out the mess we're in on our own before He feels it necessary to intervene.

Up at the university in Martin, several trees were taken down this weekend.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

Come on, RR. You must know that the whole thing is caused by Bush. He is responsible for ALL the evil in the world.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.
