Anti Bush propaganda film.
This weekend my wife and I went to see Syriana. Talk about disjointed, no entertainment value piece of garbage. Even my wife, a liberal from way back, thought it was a waste. While they didn't name Bush and Haliburton, there was no doubt what they were talking about.
If I spend money to go to a movie, I'm bloody well going to see the movie, but even I was falling asleep during this thing.

There's a reason
The Sopranos is set in New Jersey.

George Clooney....Matt Damon....film about the politics of oil....yep, figured as much. Thanks for the review, but I hadn't really planned on putting any money into Clooney's pocket anyway. ('specially since King Kong is coming out this weekend
and I went to "Narnia" last weekend)

How was Narnia? I kinda like the wolf in the trailers.

Narnia was ok.
I thought the start was a bit weak, but it ended great.
I recomended it to a friend of mine who's a Marine and he loved it. He actually decided to buy the books.

Narnia was great. Very well done, and very faithful to the book.

I'm not wasting my money on Syriana because it's not my type of movie and I think Clooney is a lousy actor.
I'd like to see Narnia and Memoirs of a Geisha. Memoirs was a good book; I hope the movie is.

I really enjoyed Narnia...very well casted and filmed. The CGI effects were not distracting (like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow) and the characters were able to strike a chord and make me care about them. It ranks right up with Lord of the Rings, and moved up to my second favorite movie of the year (Sin City still at #1)
