Concealed carry action/horror short film
I made another short action/horror film with extensive use of the Glock 17 and entered it in Dare2Direct short horror movie contest. The story is about a concealed carry driver along the Seward Highway, Alaska, who encounters a machine with deadly intentions The video is called "Blood Machine". Moral of story: If one is on a road trip and gets attacked by killer robots, a Glock could save your life. I apologize for the quality of their reproduction - it appears to be squashed a little, but all my competitors are squashed also. I have a longer unsquashed version on Youtube, if you are interested. I will post a link to the video contest site. If you like it please click the thumbs up button. I watched my 260 competitors videos and most appear to be various forms of torture porn or Halloween knock-offs. There are a couple of dozen good ones in there also. Voting stops at the end of September. The link appears to be finicky, please try it a couple of times if it doesn't work.

Didn't really see any fear or horror aspect. The protagonist was calm and not displaying any emotion half the time.
Can't say I liked it. If there was a robot digging through my floorboard and putting explosives in my car, I would be angry and probably freaked out too.
Lack of emotion
My suggestions in the future
-Add some more color to your protagonist (this coming from a guy who wears mostly dark colors and slayer shirts)
-Add more emotion, anger, fear, omg I could possibly die here! I mean if something crawled through my floor or roof, I would be yelling at it in about the same fashion I would be yelling at a person. "GET THE bink OUT OF MY CAR!"

Clear photography with good light
Wrong whistle for the train.
Nice robot: short, sweet and deadly.
And you should invest in a truck gun.. you are in Alaska!
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.
Ego will kill you. Leave it at home.

After shooting out the drivers window, the door is opened and has a reflection on the window that just got shot out.

Thanks for the advice. Yes I need to add a little more personality to the protagonist. I was trying to play the character as calm and controlled (similar to Wesley Snipes in Blade), it is difficult for a viewer to identify with this type of character if they don't show some humanity. I will try to make my character have a little more panic and fear next time to help with the tension. I love black clothes, I am not sure what colorfull clothes would add.
