I made a left hand turn right into the oncoming lane of traffic and never saw the divider. It was late at night, I was tired, and I was trying to listen to my GPS. Luckily no one was coming and I did a quick "U-ie" and got going the right way!
As far as the truck driver; people are in their own little world and you probably just surprised them.

She probably got startled that you interrupted her current reading (while driving): 101 Ways To Flip The Bird.

How dare you interrupt her during her phone call?

Could be the truck didn't have power stearing. Since it was to hard to make a good 90 degree turn into her land she had to cut the corner.

If you drive a small car, you need an air horn that sounds like a locomotive. It will blow red light runners right outta there seat & it takes them just long enough to recover that it's too late to flip you off :D

You should have followed her and let her know "what is up"! If you gave you any trouble, all you would have had to do is flash your gun and CCW badge!

Most likely she just arrived from England, departed American Airlines at your local International Airport Hub in Portland (missing 12 of her 14 pieces of luggage, and all of her makeup), she then rented a full size one ton red Chevy pickup when no Yugos were available, after spending three and a half hours driving while trying to get out of the airport she stopped for gas (filling a Yugo = $2.39 vs. 1 ton PU = $97.42) after exiting the gas station she forgot and was driving or the wrong side of the road ... OR she was just stupid. In either case you did right.

What's the difference between a porcupine and any other car on the road?
With the porcupine, the pricks are on the OUTSIDE!

I had similar experience. Was following a car turning south from a stop onto a 5 lane road (center turn lane). He turned into the center turn lane and stopped! I proceeded around him and kept going down the inside southbound lane, not sure why he stopped because there were no cars preventing him from proceeding south. He proceeded to turn and flip me off??
I didn't understand why and kept watching in my rear view as he turned right across 2 lanes of traffic (from the center left turn lane) into a dollar store parking lot.
