    A promise I hope to keep

    I was at the grocery store this evening. As I approached the cashier, she asked, "How are you doing?"

    Typical reply, "Great, how about you?"

    "I am going good", she said.

    But I could tell, that she really didn't mean it. As we talked more, it came out that a previous customer yelled at her loud enough that the whole store heard her. I tried to cheer her up a bit.

    On the way out, I saw the Powerball machine. I bought a ticket and went back and told her that if I win (154 million, I get after taxes and such about 35 million) I would give her a million dollars. Her eyes lit up, but somehow I don't think that she has high expectations, just based on the odds.

    So I thought, while I am giving away money, I might as well give some to DC as well. So if I win the big one, I will give Bumper $100,000 or enough to run DC for 10 years (whichever is greater) and I will choose one person at random and buy him any gun he wants...that he can legally get.

    I will keep you posted as to whether I win or not.
    Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse or Rapture....whichever comes first.
