    That white stuff

    Snow -

Well, anyone in NE or come to that even South East - what a mix we are having. Lot of icing down near Atlanta I believe. Of course also upper mid west had a fair share too.

Here - just one further boatload of snow with a tendency to sleety stuff which may even turn to freezing rain. Been clearing path and driveway thoughout day but expect a busy morning ahead as it may persist partly thru the night - not off the hook I heard until midday Friday.

Did occur to me tho - it sure should reduce the chance of bad guys wandering around where they shouldn't!!

Or it makes them more desperate if they do.

    It's BAD Here

Odd combination of sleet & rain then the temp dropped below freezing & the rain froze & now the sidewalks here are like sheets of glass.
    Very slippery walking.

We've run through the whole gammit today, started with snow, went through freezing rain, and it's supposed to be only rain by morning.

    Hey Phil

Can you move over to the right a little bit...you're blocking my view of the snow.

Just plain COLD here. No snow, rain, etc..

It's 10 degrees colder than normal in Oregon. Where the heck is global warming when you need it!

    Chris,

Better you than me with the white stuff...people here absolutely lose their minds when it snows. I worry more about BAD drivers than BGs when it's snowing...

This morning I worked from home on the laptop...

...rather than making the hour and fifeen minute commute in the Philmobile to my main office. I drove downtown that morning anyway on an important errand -- the roads were not plowed and we'd had maybe 9 inches to a foot of snow on top of a half inch of ice. It took half an hour just to get all the snow off the car, and then I had to hack away all that ice. It was so thick that I was lifting off sheets of it the sice of a TV tray.
