Coast Guard and the UFC in the Middle East

We were lucky to have Rich Franklin and Tim Sylvia come out and meet with us. Both really awesome guys to talk to. This was right after Rich's fight with Mark Hamill so his face was really jacked up.

Nice of em to show up, Franklin seems to be a really stand up guy, or maybe I'm biased because he is from my hometown. Still hopin we get a good USO show up here, but I doubt it will happen at my base. I've got cash already set aside for welcome back purchases, but I have quite a bit longer to go.

Man, I can't even imagine that. I have heard and seen with friends, that it is harder to love a soldier (Marine, Sailor, Airman) than to be one.

Thank you all and your families for the sacrifice to our freedom and way of life that you have made.
