I arrested a purse snatcher in a local strip mall several years ago that was chased and beat by a mob of angry folks. This dude waited for an elderly victim and when he grabed the womans purse she fell and and injured herself badly which was what made the onlookers even more angry then usual. To cap things off I recognized the victim and when I told "Mr. Dirtbag" that he just asaulted our local judges elderly mother he turned green before my eyes. To say he got hosed is an understatement!!!!

It's funny. I saw this on another forum and posted it over here.
The particular forum I got it from is motorcycle oriented, and the difference in rsponses is amazing. People over there can have an FTP attitude and they're commenting on how the truck's tires aren't locked up and how it looks like the LEO turns into the perp.
Many are stating how they hopr the LEO will hang for this. Good to know that there are some people here that feel as I do. (He shoulda parked the truck on his leg just to make sure he could be properly subdued, though).J/K

I like what someone posted on another forum. They said something to the effect of "He's obviously a rookie, look how far he lead him. Give him a couple of years, and he'll get em right up on the hood".

Do the crime - then - face whatever is comin' your way. If he had not been running I doubt this would have occurred - unless of course the cop was really experienced (tongue in cheek, cheap shot).
