Really poor pic because you really can't sense the scale. For the uninitiated, the tires are 42" tall. Fenders are about shoulder level. The bed is 8' x 14' :-)

I've got a 30MB video of it starting up from it's slumber but that may be a bit much to post here!

She's got a few rust spots starting, and needs the canvas repaired, but she drove good as new yesterday. Well, like new but with bias ply tires sitting for years. WhoOOooOOoooOOOooOOOooOOOoOOOoOOOooOOOoOOO !!

I have always wondered If you put on fatigues and had a short haircut how long could you drive around a old military vehicle without registering it. If I ever had a suspeneded license thats what I would do.

Hitch, I drove this truck 3 years without any reg or plates (local town wouldn't allowm me to register) During those 3 years I had a LOT of police cars tailing me all the way up to the end of their jurisdiction. Never got stopped though. Also - Never charged a toll on any toll road out here - just waved on through. Toll savings almost offset the cost of the truck :-)

She'll get 5MPG fully loaded so fuel economy is pretty good, all things considered! 5MPG for 20k# of cargo- heck my F350 only got 7MPG!
