OK...Good Ol' Capn Kirk redeemed himself a bit with that clip.

I have been getting pretty sick of seeing him prostitute himself all over the place on TV in countless numbers of totally awful commercials.

Sorry, that isn't the "real" Bill in that video clip. I'm a long time Trek fan, and used to be a Shatner fan too but I lost all respect for him when he appeared on the Arsinio Hall show around 1993 (and I'm not real sure why I was even watching it at the time).

The Brady bill had just passed and Shatner was asked what he thought about it and his response was to the effect of "we need more" - "I cannot believe people have guns", etc...

Youtube has a 1993 interview clip from the show but it isn't complete.

Yes, Shatner is pro-gun control and the more gun control...the better as far as he is concerned.

I guess he hates anything that can't set on "STUN" and he only likes guns when he gets to use prop guns to fatten his bank account.

So, where are all the screams that you shouldn't shoot to wound and that he should have shot COM, and that after his first shot, the second and third are questionable because the BG may have no longer been a threat?
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.
