So i got my 13 button pants back from the cleaner...

and they put creases in them! I tried ironing out the creases, but they are wool, and they don't seem to fade at all.

Has anyone out there had this problem with their dress blue pants? Any idea how to fix it?

Never had the problem myself, since I was AF. You might take them back to the cleaners and explain the problem, they may be able to use a steamer to relax the material.

One of my friends' girlfriend pressed all his Marine khaki shirts...and took the creases out. Might try consulting her...

Don't know what to tell ya man...can you take them back to the cleaners and have them press them out?

As a former Sailor who has had this happen. I'm going to tell the best way to fix it. Buy a new pair! The wool will hold the crease forever. I know they are expensive but it's the only way.

That's why 'more experienced' sailors have augmented thier 13 button dress pants with the 'miracle fabric'

Those creases will come out with a steamer.....eventually. The steamer used at the cleaners will get it out faster. Take it back to 'em.

Worst case sceaniro, bring your britches to a NavyExchange (they are good in Groton) Uniform Shop and they'll hook you up.

I wouldn't worry about it. You got a new change of uniform coming your way ASAP, courtesy of Uncle Sams' canoe club.

And give the the cleaners the bill and the old pants, they are responsible for their mistakes.

Velcro does work wonders. Took them back to the cleaner, they are going to try to press them out. If that doesn't work, i fully intend to have them pay for a new pair.
