    Shooting - #1 interest?

Just canvassing to see what else folks do.!

So - is shooting, firearms etc your prime interest/hobby? If so - then what else gives you relaxation pleasure?

If guns and shooting not #1 then - what is? List your indulgences in order!!

Gun stuff is pretty much #1 for me but - in summer months biking is a big thing, as is flying model RC planes.

I would have to say that guns are #1 for me, however in the fall and winter bowling kind of takes over (depends on how many leagues I end up in). I do enjoy reading a good book and hope to maybe try my hand at reloading.

Ahhh bowling. Forgot that. Have recently tried that again after 30 plus years - I am crap at it but it's fun and the folks we go with are good company.

Reloading? Indeed, go for it - chance to hone your recipes to suit individual guns and - possibly either save a bit or - have more ammo to shoot

I have a hard time deciding on an order for my hobbies (obsessions???), hehe! Right now guns and shooting are at the top of the list. The order changes periodically depending upon current projects. Though, firearms always remains very high on the list. My other interests include:
    • Woodcarving
    • Woodworking
    • Stained glass
    • Fishing
    • cars/trucks (old, rods & 4x4)

I am sure I could list more. I have been looking into getting back into leatherwork again. My family gets upset trying to figure out what the 'flavor-of-the-month' is!!!

forty - haha - a man like me of nefarious and many interests. I have others but did not list them - some quite superficial but - I have always tried all sorts of stuff!

Stained glass eh - hmmm - I guess you mean the real thing but - hey, gotta say my dear wife has played with the ''pseudo'' stuff - paint and strips of black etc - and did a wonderful job on our front door (IMO) - if I can find the pic I took I'll post it - I was proud of what she did. (But I am biased - of course!)

Here ya go - justa quick pic - two or more years ago this was IIRC -

Chris, I would enjoy seeing the door. You're right mine has been foiled or leaded method. I haven't tried the 'pseudo' stuff myself. It is a great hobby.

cybrus - I was thinking here - a common theme, guns, cigars and camping all produce smoke - but reading is the odd one out, unless you drop cigar ash on the page
