Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I read that earlier and think it could be a great idea. There are no moving parts and it is encased in concrete and buried. Also the price per home is pretty good. 25 million for 1 reactor and at 10,000 homes per reactor that comes out to 250 a home. I pay more than that a year for electricity.
It doesn't infringe on the 2A, so it must be good.
I'm sure that in a world of 15B+ humans who have learned to live sustainably, such a thing will absolutely be part of the power solution. But in order for it to be truly sustainable, there will have to be a fix for the waste.

There are 104 nuclear plants that generate 20% of the electricity on th US. These plants put out ZERO emissions. ....but the same bunch that don't don't want nuclear plants also don't want coal or oil fired plants either.
The NEWEST nuke plant was built in 1996 (Watts Bar in Tennessee.).....NO NEW ONES ARE PLANNED!.....So good luck getting approval to have one buried in your back yard........
