Your going to have to post some pics of JD holding the little bugger the first time so we can see what he looks like when he is torn between sheer excitement and extreme awe.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

No labor
I wish I had a designated photographer to take just such picture. In fact, I've always regretted not having a camera with me when the ultrasound technician told us we were having a boy.
His face was PRICELESS!
I can't imagine how much more amazing it will be when he actually gets to hold his son for the first time. I'm sure I won't be thinking about cameras at that time either so I'll have to grab a nurse and beg them to do it.
Unfortunately, I didn't. We got home. I had about three or four contractions and that was it.
Slept all the way through the night.. woke up this morning and still nothing.

I can't wait to see him change his first nasty diaper. He has admitted that he's never changed one before in his life so this is going to be an experience. I hate to admit that we actually wasted an hour and a half of our lives watching that movie, but I have a feeling that's going to be something like what JD is going to look like..lol
Don't tempt us.
We considered John Moses, Samuel Colt and other variations... but in the end a non-gun related name won out.
Who knows, maybe someday people will be paying buku bucks for a Garrett 1911!

I like Nov. 22, my daughter was born on that day (in 1981).
I'd love to be your designated photographer, but the drive makes it impractical. I did it for my 2nd grand baby and it was a pretty neat experience. We even got a couple that the Dr. wanted copies of.
If you do decide to have a photographer present, make sure you tell your Dr. in advance. At first he was a little freaked out by all the equipment, but then after my daughter told him that's how she wanted it he was OK with it.
We'll all be thinking and praying for you, my wife still asks about you often (she's not a member here).
