Opposite gas prices thread than before
Well, I never thought I'd see the day. I just paid $1.999/gal for unleaded. The price drops every single day. I filled up 2 Mondays ago for @2.409 and was tickled to death. This Monday at $2.1999, even happier. Topped off at $1.999.
How low can you go???

Today, $1.81 per gallon.
I heard that there is a place here in Shelby County that is selling it for $1.75!
I hope this continues.

It's still about $2.50 here in upstate New York.
But it's nice to think back to the days of 30¢/gallon, PLUS windshield washing PLUS oil check PLUS free drinking glass or other giveaway PLUS full service. All for a total fillup of about $4!
Alas, them days is gone!

OPEC finally figured out they almost killed the goose that layed their golden egg. They will keep dropping the prices until we convince ourselves to do nothing whatsoever about our dependence on them.
I hope the (can't write the word here) were heavily invested in the derivatives Paulson now won't buy.

$1.87 here today. Down from $1.89 yesterday.
Last week when it hit $1.99 I made three trips and filled the truck, van, and car. I hope it continues to fall and I hope that the recession has the same effect on all commoditites so ammo prices will go down too.

1.76 here in south Texas,Kinda funny how they are cutting supply and prices keep dropping but not too long ago they were producing more and prices were climbing.I think a lot of people unless they need a big truck for work are actually downsizing,I bought a motorcycle that gets about 50+mpg for trips that i won't be hauling nothing ,beats 17 mpg in the jeep
