Bagged my Buck
Went out yesterday for opening day, rifle Ct. Plugged a nice 8 pointer at 11:30 AM. I was walking approx. 120yds below him on a upward slope, he was pawing for acorns facing me. Spined him with the 1st shot out of my 308 (150 grain bullet), dropping the buck in his tracks. Took me 3 hours to drag out, I was in quite deep, still tired and sore today, what a work out. Weighed in at 142lbs, good eating size, will be grilling the tenderloin for supper tonight. Got to love Bambi-slamming, and I still have my doe tag!!!

Where I work we have a rule, if you can't show us the tag or pictures it didn't happen. Show us some pics. (Envious) Who said happy hunting?

Other states' game laws confound me. Here in West Tennessee, in the counties I hunt, we can lawfully tag 128 deer per year. And I hear all this about having one or two tags in other states.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

No pics? You've GOT to be kidding me...

Where ya going to put all that meat?
I've got two in the freezer and I am maxed out.

I put one ad out and have a list of people that want it. It's so thick that all I have to do it call a number and say "come get it." I don't take special orders and wish I could charge a fee.

My SGM got his yesterday, now we are all happy because he's no longer crying about it.
Now we just need me, and 2 other guys to get ours. The Ops center will be a happier place!!
