Running Win2000? (Need help)
If you are running Windows2000 (hopefully Win2000 Professional), I would really appreciate a copy of your file, USER32.dll. This is a set of instructions that tells the computer how to connect to the sound card (among other things), and I'm getting an error message that suggests that my copy is corrupted. (It has nothing in it about you as a user - it allows "a" user connect to the 32-bit system.) I need this file to run Ventrilo (a slick audio chat room system) for my new tutoring business.
If you can help, please send me a private message and I'll send you back my email address and how to find it.
Thanks!

Would this help you? DLL-files.com - user32.dll, free download
Is this a driver? I'm not too computer savy myself, but I had to reinstall my sound driver recently. Had quite a time in finding the compatible program. Don't know how the original ever got lost or deleted. I've used Driver Detective before.

Thanks, folks! Need to work up the energy to try it now. (OK, I'll admit it - I've got to go to work.) But I will don my mask and cape and be the Defender of Liberty and Replacer of Uncorrupted Files this evening!
Thanks to Broknindarkagain for the file, Rcher for the offer, and Ramrod for the links. I appreciate the help.
