"Not all the bullets had been removed from the gun".
Well, duh!Man accidentally shoots himself in the pelvis.
The Daily Interlake
A 21 year-old man was injured Monday night when he accidentally shot himself in the pelvis with a .44-caliber Magnum.
The man was taken via ALERT helicopter to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where he was placed in the intensive care unit, according to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office.
According to investigators, the man was spinning the revolver around his finger, gunfighter style, when it accidentally went off and a round hit him in the pelvis. Not all the bullets had been removed from the gun.
The man was alone in a room of his Lost Prairie Road residence when the shooting occurred about 8:s0 p.m. Monday. The gun reportedly belonged to the man's friend.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Wow! In the pelvis with a .44Mag...that's gonna' leave a mark.
Poor dumb thing...I'll bet that he doesn't do that again.
I've always heard you could shoot your eye out, but not the 'boys' off.

In a "Who Is Badder?" contest between a pelvis attached to an idiot and a .44 Magnum - the pelvis will never win.

Well you see this guy probably didn't understand that the cowboys used single action revolvers which makes spinning guns on your finger much, much safer than the modern double action 44 magnum revolvers.
If he would have stuck to a cowboy gun with cowboy loads, he would probably not be missing pelvis parts at this time.
Agreed. What a moron.
Anybody think the ND was preceded by "hey check this out"?
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I once saw a guy spinning a C&L 1911. I took cover.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

It MAY have been a Ruger .44 Magnum Cowboy Gun and possibly he was spinning it on his finger with the hammer cocked.
