I can't take it anymore! I am going to the gym!
I was going to wait until I see the Doc on Monday and he officially gives me the green light to go back to the gym and lift but, I just can't take it anymore.
I am in my gym clothes right now, I am posting this and walking out the door to go and lift. I am going to take it easy on the knee (Just had surgery last Thursday) but I HAVE to get back in there and do some lifting.
To show you how much this is driving me crazy, my wife even told me to go as long as I take it easy on the knee. Apparently I was driving her crazy with what she called my constant whining about not being in the gym.
So, I am off, I will post on this thread and let you know how it goes, although I am not sure why anyone would care other than Cupcake.
Update to follow......

Just be careful, you don't want to undo what's just been fixed.

Update
I spen 2 hours in the gym. I did not do any leg weights or exercises.
I did all upper body weights. I feel great and I am glad I went. And I am happy to say that the week off did not diminish my abilities. I am still able to easily lift the weight I was lifting right before the operation. In 3 instances in fact, I can now lift more.
So, I am back and I feel great about it!

Glad you are doing well enough to get out of the house. I know you must feel better with some fresh air, adrenaline and endorphins.

Got up this morning and kind of dreaded getting out of bed but when I did, the knee feels GREAT!
I am sore. Not the knee, but my chest and shoulders are sore. That is OK. I worked my chest and shoulders hard. The knee does not hurt though. Still not 100% but it did not suffer any ill effects from the gym trip last night!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
