Anyone else putting up Christmas decorations today?
I am even now being pulled away from the computer to put up Christmas lights and decorations.....I will return when the house is sufficiently** decorated and lit.
**As by my wife's standards. My standards for holiday decorations are much, much.....much lower.

Your knee must be coming along nicely... I'd milk it for a bit longer though.
I was planning on doing our house today, but the wife and MIL took off to the movies/shopping so I got stuck with the kids. Some day off.
I've decided that this year I'm not putting up a bunch of lights and all that garbage. Just a wreath or two and maybe candles in the windows and thats it.

Don't even think about Christmas until after deer season.

Too hot to work outside; 84 deg. in the shade and that side of the house has NO shade.

One benefit of being Jewish. One year my wife as a teenager was babysitting after the kids when to sleep she took everything off the tree and re-did everything. she says she did a much better job than the family did.

After over 20 years of retail, decorations are not on my agenda. If anything gets put up at my house, the wife and kids do it. JAT40...if I waited until after deer season, I would not put anything up until February 1st (a great benefit from living in Mississippi).

I'm Jewish, so no Xmas decorations. But wife continually tries to find Chanukah decorations to put up since she misses the tree decorations.

Not yet, I am delaying it. The Wife said that she didn't want anything up as she doesn't have the time to do it, I think that is a cue for me to surprise her with a decorated house one night when she gets off work.
