Need a BlackBerry

I have a Motorla Razor 3m and it has been thru hell and I am looking to upgrade to a blackberry for alltel and I do not feel like paying 419 dollars for a new one. So can anyone help me out?

My old RAZR just bit the dust and even though I've got a "new every two" credit, I really don't want to sign another two year contract with Verizon.

I found a place called Welcome to Dot Cells Inc. that sells refurbed phones for every carrier. I got a little LG for $30, as I just wanted a cheapie, but I saw that they sell Crackberrys and Palms etc. as well.

In the end, I'm real happy with the deal I got, I will recommend that you keep an eye on your order status. The phone I ordered on a Thursday wasn't in stock and it wasn't until I saw no change on the order status on Tuesday and decided to call that I found out - they said they were about to call me... They quickly substituted another phone and credited me the shipping charges and I had it Friday - not bad considering it was Thanksgiving week. So if you order from them and haven't seen any movement in 48 hours, rattle their cage.

I'd do business with them again, and recommend them - just keep 'em on a short leash.

I got a similar deal through t-mobile. They seem to be between $50 & $100 if you sign a new contract. Don't forget you can switch carriers and transition your old number now.

Ask to speak to the customer satisfaction area. Tell them that you want to leave and what can they do to keep you. You can beat them up over price they are looking to keep whatever customers they have.

Check Craigslist, you can get a used Pearl model for maybe about $100 or less. You just have to be smart and careful when buying a used item from an individual. I have had many good experiences buying and selling on Craigslist.

I have the Blackberry 8830 and love it. Mine is through Verizon which is a great network; have very few issues with them. I am wanting to get the new Storm but I want to wait a year or so to get the kinks out...and for the prices to drop!

There is no reason not to jump from Alltell to another network. Just take your fiancee with you and she can keep the same phone number, as well as you. I did this with my wife before we were married.

verizon and alltel are going to be one after next month so I might hang around.

The Feds approved the buy out of Alltell by Verizon. So yes, wait a month or two. Also, if you go with a smartphone on any of the major carriers, they are requiring a full data plan. Which is about an extra $30/ month.

Yea but they want almost 60 more per month and it is nuts as far as I am concerned. So I was just trying to get the blackberry and get the plan later.
