Glock has been doing that for as long as I can remember, but just recently extended it to all public safety people.
BTW, if its the store north of the Ohio river with the initials of R.T., make sure it is in fact a Glock deal you are getting. That place loves to rip unsuspecting people off and offer their own discount, because they dont make any money at all on the LE guns, the just handle the transfer. Let me know if you want to know the exact price you should pay, I'll PM you.
