Sixto- She is Molly and she is an English Springer Spaniel, and she is honestly the most spoiled dog ever. Smokey (avitar) loves to play with the pup all day and loves to play with Molly, but molly do not like to play with him.
Molly was the wifes dog before we were together and she has never really done anything besides lay on the couch. Apparently she is a good cuddler. UGH!
I told the wife that she is a bird dog and would be great to hunt but Molly is so bad if i let her out in the backyard and it is wet she will just sit at the window and wait untill you let her back in. What a waste of dog. Just kidding. We still love her.

As much as I miss my GSD and JRT, I want another bird dog. I'm thinking about going with a brittany this time around.

I absolutly love spaniels. I am partial to Labs for obvious reasons but you cant go wrong with spaniels. I think brittany and springers are the most attractive aswell. Nothing against those with something different just my preferance.

If you get mad at her after she chews up your shoes, send her to my house... I"ll give her a great home. Better yet, I'm come and get her. Pls forward me an address.
Cute pup... really been thinking of getting one. Daughter had a white German Shephard that I love... but she got a house of her own and took her dog along. Her dog, keeps trying to go home with me every time I'm over there and I tried to convince her to go get herself a new one. So far, no luck.

Awesome guys, this is exactly what i wanted to hear. I love to hear stories of others and the joys that the canine species had brought mankind. Some happy and some sad yet all heart felt and full of love.

Hydra,
That is a nice looking GSD pup, As you can tell from my avatar, we are partial to them. They are the only dog we will ever own, Mercedes (avatar) and Mickey (our male) help the wife feel very secure at home when I am working nights.
Sadies is starting to get up in age (8 now) and slowing down. We will start looking for another pup in a year or two.

Oh she is most deviant. It funny sometimes. When her and smokey fight she waits untill he is looking away and she will latch on his tail or his arms. It is rather funny.

This my Nikita. She died in my arms in July of 2005. I know she is waiting for me at "The Rainbow Bridge", along with the other furry friends I've had in my life.
