In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:
Water = Poop.
Wine = Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of crap.

Maybe if you drink tap water! In a lot of places, tap water tastes good...but here, you may as well be drinking directly out of a polluted river.

I only drink bottled water, which of course contains very little bacteria either due to the purification process.

Here in the hills of the Atlantic Coastal Plain in West Tennessee, they say we have the best ground water in the world. I'm inclined to agree.

Our water comes from Hot Springs.

The natural springs boil the water, killing everything in it, and it has no poop.

It tastes good too. The city of Hot Springs actually has spigots coming right out of the ground that you can walk up to and fill up whatever you want to.Of course, you'll have to wait for it to cool off first before you drink it.

Uh...I hate to break this to ya, but some of the bottle manufacturers have admitted that they just fill their bottles at the tap. Hope you're getting the real deal...

That's it...I just finished a colonoscopy today and haven't eaten for 40 hours. All I could drink the whole day before was this slimy salt water concoction and "clear liquids of my choice". Next time, the "clear liquids of my choice" are going to be vodka and tonic.
