To keep it related to firearms and concealed carry ... I wonder if they found he had a concealed weapon, in spite of the state's arrogant, safety-depriving laws.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
    Thoughts: Justifiable self defense (A.O.J.).

Knowing his former position, he would probably qualify for one.

I wouldn't limit it to ILLiNOISE. I always figure any politician that's not a new politician is either a crook, a liar, or both.

Didn't the last governor go to jail as well?

Wouldn't it be poetic if O was part of this and got snagged to the iron bar hotel! What is the process for arresting the President? Pres-elect?.....

What word are you referring to? The biggest words, corruption and inconceivable, seem appropriate to the context??????

    Synonyms for inconceivable are:
    unthinkable
    unimaginable
    beyond belief
    unbelievable

Seems appropriate enough to me in the sarcasm tense. I'm quite sure that's how OPFOR meant it. Am I missing something?

Speaking of...how are you guys doing up there? Didn't Canada's PM recently suspend parliament to keep power or some such nonsense?

It's amazing, over the last two days everybody involved in Chicago and Illinois politics has been on TV denouncing Lord Blago except for one. Richard Daley. I haven't seen him anywhere. I imagine he's holed up in his office scared to death he will be implicated in this somehow.

Not quite that bad, the PM played a set of cards which he may have had no choice but to play, the suspension of parliment actually helped the other side as they have dumped their useless leader and have annointed a new one in his place in hopes that Canadians will quickly forget the previous imbecile.

this blog has lots of details if you are inclined, the writer is fiesty and she is fairly right-wing (For Canada anyways) and supports gun ownership.

Liars, cheaters and thieves. They're everywhere. They're stealing our future, so long as they're allowed to do so. No different than any other criminal.

Personal Responsibility. Some treat that like it's a brand name of toilet bowl cleanser, instead of a guiding life principle.
