I did nnot mention that I'm 6-3" tall and 304#. I think the weight is the metal parts tho. certainly not fat. So I'm sort of short of finding a good teater-totter partner.

lets be carefull about the 1/2 a man thing ok?? Just kidding
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.

Mid 60s here too. I've still got most of my body parts including gall bladder and appendix. However, I had male breast cancer 10 years ago, so one side of my chest is gone. I used to work with a guy (60s too) who always liked to say he had the body of a 20 year old. We used to tease him by asking if he had it buried in his basement.

    Two quotes to ponder:

George Burns, on reaching age 100: "I feel like an 18 year old. Where is she?"

Woody Allen: "I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens."
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch; Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."
    -- Benjamin Franklin
