What are you opinions/thoughts and maybe personal experiances with these. Such as Sasquatch,New Jersey Devil,Chupacabra, even UFO's to Aliens. Here in ohio we have numbers of reports on our "sasquatch" dubbed in ohio as "The Grass Man." Me personally i am lost on weither to belive it or not. I have had no personal experiance. its 50/50 for me, kinda a quote always pops into my head that i've heard for a while is "The smartest animal known, is the animal not discovered by man." And with the whole Giant squid thing 5-10 years ago people thought it was all rubbish and just a hoax, but here we are almost 2009 with actual scientific evidence of Giant Squids. Me im more of the I'll belive it when i see it type deal, even tho there has been sound recordings taken that match no known animal in excistance, yet alone any animal sound that can hit the frequancy range of what was recorded. I ask this because i thourghly enjoy storys about all this and TV shows about all these myths, UFO's and urban legends/monsters. So lets here what you have to say!.

Actually, I don't think people thought the giant squid was a hoax anywhere near as much as sasquatch, yeti, and the like. Giant squid carcasses have been found for ages, and with photographic evidence and collected specimens for quite some time. The issue with giant squid was that nobody had been able to record or document a live giant squid until recently.

I don't know the answer to all of that.
I am still searching for evidence of intelligent life on earth, in ANY form.

Being in the heart of "grassman" territory, I've come to the conclusion that the grassman was created by people who smoked to much grass, man.
If you read the reports of the grassman, there is a LEO wd fire on who opened fire on the grassman in the late 70's. I know this guy very well, and he is a very grounded down to earth guy. What he shot at I dont know. He won't talk about it.
I also have an Uncle who was a MP back in the late 50's early 60's. His task was to guard the secret stuff in the hangers at Wright Patt. He was also moved to Nevada to do the same there.
He would never tell me what was in there, but he did give me some clues. Even when he was close to death, he would not tell me. I dont know if it was because of honor, fear or respect maybe a combo of all, he would not spill the beans.
He did give me enough clues to know that there is/was some very cool secret stuff in those hangers, but if its earthly or not, I don't know.
Being a LEO myself, I got a ton of creepy "ghost" stories. I doubt the existance of ghosts and the like, but the stories are fun.
And my kid keeps a monster in his closet.

I keep looking for UFOs but they must be avoiding me.

I've spent a lot of time in the woods, but I have never seen a mountain lion. Just because I haven't seen one doesn't mean I think they are myths. Humans have explored less than 1/3 of Earth, and yet we have some egotistic idea that if we have not observed it by now, it must not exist. Rubbish.
There are plenty of frontiers left and who knows what we will discover.
As far as your specifics:
Sasquatch-Yes, I believe big foot is out there. It's probably nocturnal and on the brink of extinction. There have been reports of the creature for centuries.
New Jersey Devil-never heard of it
Chupacabra-Most likely it is a wolf with mange, but who knows.
UFO's/aliens-There is probably intelligent life out there, but for them to have visited means they would have had to develop a technology for faster than light travel....highly unlikely.

The alien thing kills me. The universe has no begining and no end...but yet some insist there is no other life out there.
Also, they say that life needs oxygen and water to exist. Says who? Yes, life here on Earth needs that, but who's to say there isnt some life forths that thrive on dioxide and helium? Who knows whats out there is my point.

My mothers uncle was stationed at Area 51 many years ago. Before he died from cancer caused by Agent Orange, he somewhat hinted at some of the things that they had at that installation. Like your Uncle, he would not get too specific, but gave enough information to get me really curious.

Sasquatch - Dirty old man who hasn't had a shave or haircut in years and enjoys fooling people.
Giant Squid - People have know about them for years but never captured one alive. The real giant squid in actually nothing like the one in the novels and really a disappointment to those looking for a sub-eating animal.
Alien Life - It's out there but the laws of physics apply to them as well as us. Think about a civilization that has the ability to travel across the universe but gets to Earth and can't communicate from one side of the world to the other without stealing our communications satellites. Better yet they have the ability to transport people out of their beds to their ship and all they want to do is make porn movies with whoever they steal.
There are many things that can't be easily explained but most of it is imagination. I saw a shooting star one night and the next day in the paper I read about 7 different police reports of UFO's in that exact same area. I should have invested in tin foil back before it got so popular.

I think the existence of alien life is more probable than non-existence.
As far as UFOs, I think the majority of "sightings" are really just classified or experimental aircraft. There's a reason there are more sightings in the desert (plus the fact they can be seen more easily away from the light pollution of the city).
I once saw something... here is what happened. It was about 7th grade I believe. We were playing baseball I think, during PE, and I happened to look up and see this red orb in the sky. Quite high, as it looked quite small. It was just... staying there, but definitely a red orb, looked almost like a perfectly round metal or whatnot ball, painted red. Then, after a little while of me staring at it, it seemed to "notice" me, and suddenly took off in one direction, with no noise or anything. What was so odd is that it was staying perfectly in place before this, and accelerated very quickly out of sight from that position - and I definitely felt like it only moved right after I seriously started looking at it, almost as if it noticed someone was watching.
It was pretty weird.

I agree my uncle was stationed at wright pat and he was one that helped build and design the stealth jet. he tells storys of what he can but he knows a lot more that he just can not talk about. I respect that, but it would be damn nice to know some of it.
